Bring a copy of your boat and/or trailer registrations for Ramp Permits. Provide proof of ownership or bring a photo of your dinghy for Dinghy Permits. Visit ABI's Policies Page for more information.

2020 Date Set for Annual Spring Cleanup
Mark your calendar; the 2020 Spring Cleanup will be Saturday, April 25th from 9am to 12pm or until projects are completed. The Cleanup is posted on the website Community Calendar which links to a corresponding event page where you will find more information and can register to volunteer. Alternatively, you can just show up on the big day. Registrants will receive reminders and updates. Your registration helps organizers rally and plan projects. Many Arden residents schedule their time and vacations around this day. Afterward, ABI will host a cookout for Cleanup Volunteers. We hope to see you there. I look forward to Spring Cleanup each year because it's fun!
ABI Launches New Website Features
Keeping with the Arden website mission to engage all community members and create more interactive experiences, ABI launched several new website features in December. We are pleased to announce online ABI Shares Purchasing as well as ABI Shares Record that shows the number of shares connected to each Arden property address. Arden's 2019 Fundraiser for New Website Ends Soon
A reminder that ABI's 2019 Fundraiser for support of our new Arden website comes to an end this year. Our Arden website, now a year old, has proven to be popular and successful beyond our expectations. Dues payments are up. There are fewer collections to be made. We've experienced more community involvement and much more website interaction. You have a few more days to donate and help ABI reach our goal of $5,000. As of today, December 28th, $4,720 has been donated. Only $280 more to go! We hope to surpass this goal during these next few days. Show your appreciation for all of the expense, time and effort that the ABI Board, developers, and community volunteers have put into our terrific website. If anyone finds a better community website in Maryland, we want to know about it. We bring you the best and strive to be better.
Thank you, Andrew Huppert!
On behalf of the ABI Board of Directors and the entire Arden community, I would like to thank Andrew Huppert for his many years of volunteerism and dedication to the betterment and well-being of our beloved Arden on the Severn. Andrew took on the gigantic task of managing the Arden NewsBuoy for the past fifteen years. He did an amazing job of corralling writers, advertisers, and volunteers. Andrew has published the last issue of the "paper" NewsBuoy and passed the rein to Lisette Mulé, who will debut the new digital NewsBuoy in January 2020.
Additionally, Andrew built and managed the old Arden website. When it came time to transfer content to our new Arden website, Andrew gave his full support and assistance. He is a pleasure to work with.
Arden has many great volunteers; Andrew is one of the most selfless and generous. His work and legacy shine brightly. Thank you, Andrew. You're a champ.
